As Salaamu alaikum

Welcome to the Noor Ul Islam Trust website.

Would you like to know more about us? Read on….

Noor Ul Islam Trust is a registered Charity, based in East London, UK and was formed in 1990.
We run a community centre, mosque, full time primary school (named AMS-UK School of the year 2010) , pre-school, youth club, Aalimah class (female scholars), health projects and community cohesion projects, to name a few. We support our local madrassas and the separate swimming sessions for men and women.

The Trust works actively to overcome barriers in the community and aims to bring unity and the improvement of not just the local area and the whole country. We support those in need locally and internationally and have raised funds for groups such as NSPCC, Children with Leukaemia and our local hospital, Whipps Cross University Hospital.

Noor  Ul Islam is also a founding member of the local Faith Communities Forum.

We believe the local Muslim community has a role to play in improving the quality of life for all residents and we promote this through our projects and events. We know that this can only be done by working with others through respect and co-operation.

We do have an Islamic nursery. There are two sessions, one from Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 11:45 and the other from Monday to Thursday, 12:15pm to 3:15pm. As long as your child is not registered in another nursery, you should qualify for a free nursery education for one of these sessions (there is a registration fee to pay). For more information please phone 020 8558 3014 during term time.

You can apply for a place once your child is 2½ years old. Please note there is a long waiting list and places are not guaranteed. To download a form please go to:

I have 3 sons aged 4, 3, and 2 and i would like to know how much is the fee for my 4 year old to join the school and for my 3 year old is nursery free for everyone, also ive look at alot of school and they dont teach much about the religion and the sunnah of the beloved prophet (saw) so can you tell me if this school does please also do the children learn how to pray, and do they pray at school thank you so much.

  8. aslam Says:

As Salaamu alaikum Sr Umm Mustafa Hussein

Our pre-school is free (other than a one off small registration fee), as long as your child is not receiving any other free Nursery education.

Our Primary School current fees are £2600 per child per year.

Please be aware however that there are very long waiting lists for both our pre-school and primary school.

We teach about Islam appropriately throughout the school. So, for example, salaah is taught at Year 2 and children start praying regularly at Year 3 (age 7). The Islamic Studies curriculum is incorporated throughout other areas of the National Curriculum subjects and the authentic Sunnah is also taught and followed. For more information on our primary school please visit http://www.nuips.org

I hope this information is useful.

    Assalam o Alaikum,

My son is going to be 1 year old and for future i would like him to study in your school. I know there is a long waiting list for nursery and primary school but still can you advise me as to when i should apply for him so that he has maximum chances of getting admission. also i want him to memorize quran. Do you provide this service?

    Thanks

  10. aslam Says:

As Salaamu alaikum Sr Munqazzah and JazakAllaah Khayran for your post.
Our pre-school takes children from the ages of 3, however you can apply once your child is 2½ years old. The primary school accepts registration for its reception class when a child reaches 3 years old (to start when they are 4).

You are advised to give your completed form on these exact dates (i.e 2½ years and 3 years old respectively). Living locally to the schools also helps. If your child gets a place inthe pre-school, there is more chance of a place in the primary school being offered.

We have a Hifz class and take children from the age of 6/7 depending on their ability.

I hope this information is useful. May Allaah bless and reward you for taking a keen interest in your child’s education at an early age.

I would like to know whether you hold tuition classes for children on saturday morning, my son is 14 and his exams are coming up, I also have a 6 year old who needs a little help with reading and writing. could you also let me know if you have classes for Quran reading on Sat morning as well, I haven’t sent my children to read before as I find that most mosques think it is ok to strike children, I am very against this and cannot tolerate anyone touching my children, but I have been advised that you mosque is different.
    thank you
