How much???

Zahrah: It is £40 a month in the first year for full time study, five days a week. You will find this is an extremely good price compared to other institutes which offer similiar services.

Assalamu’alaykum
Does Noor Ul Ilam offer courses Hifz courses for sisters over 16. There are a lot of Aalimah courses in East London, part-time and full time, for sisters that are still in school and for those sisters that are over 16, but there is no Hifz classes for sisters over 16 to complete the memorisation of the Quran. I think the community needs something like this inshaAllah. Would Noor ul Islam consider organising such a course?

As Salaamu alaikum
Unfortunately we do not have a Hifz class for sisters over 16. We acknowledge that this would be a very good class to run, however we need to ensure that we have people to manage the course and appoint a good, appropriate teacher – which we have not been able to do so far.
Should this situation change, we would look to starting such a course.

My daughter is home educated and I wish for her to do the alimah course but she will only be 11 next year. I have considered doing the course with her. Would you consider her?

wa ‘alaykum salaam. The Aalimah department would consider your daughter to take the course despite her age if she meets certain criteria such as level of understanding, consent from parents etc.
The Aalimah Department requested if you can come along with your daughter to the Aalimah department and have a meeting with them on Monday 26th September between 10am-2pm so they may discuss your options inshaAllaah, as the course has already started.
