Please can tell what kind of person you are looking Headteacher vacancy. Are there any work experience requirements or is it not essential?

We are looking for someone, ideally a qualified teacher, who has many years experience at managing an (Islamic) establishment. Must have good interpersonal skills, knowledgeable in educational matters and able to deal with staff, governors, parents and the authorities.

I was wondering how one will be informed if they have an interview? Will it be by phone or letter and when this will be sent, if at all?
Main reason I wanted to know is due to legal restraints on leaving a teaching position after the May half term.

We hope to contact shortlisted candidates early next week, by phone and letter (we mentioned by 13th May in the advert, but hopefully it will be before then). We are aware of the half term issue so we hope that we will give all candidates the outcome of the process by then.

Letters were sent out to applicants on Friday detailing the outcome of their application. You should recieve a letter today and if not, then hopefully by Tuesday inshaAllah.
