PLEASE NOTE THAT AS AT 19th JUNE SWIMMING SESSIONS ARE AT 4:45PM to 6:45PM (Not the time advertised on the poster/leaflet)
We are pleased to annouce that the MIWA swimming sessions are due to start again in April at the Leyton Leisure Lagoon. As before, one session will be for brothers only and the next for sisters only. We also have the gym again for those 16 and over.
Therefore there will be the swimming pool, jucuzzi and slide. Plus for those 16 years old and over there will also be the Steam room, Sauna Room and Gym!

Fozia & Saima: The session this Sunday (Sunday 3rd July 2011) will be going ahead as normal inshaAllaah.

Just wondering why boys hav to be under 2 to go swimming wit sisters
My son is 5
I thought tat is wud be ok islamicaly if boys were under 7

Apologies for the delay in replying. The MIWA team had to set the “Two years” limit for boys attending the sisters session due to past complaints by sisters. They are not saying it is unIslamic to have a five year old, it is just they had to put this in place because of some past issues. We appreciate this doesn’t help you, but these are their rules.

This wil be the last swimming session for now. There are no plans to restart these until next year.

Yes, 10 year olds are permitted to participate in the swimming sessions. Just to make you aware that we have had our last session for the year but we will be restarting next year inshaAllaah.
