Is it necessary to book a place on the Wed 2nd June funeral awareness Course?
Also what is the recommended age for attendees? I was considering if this may also be of interest to my 11 year old daughter if it is suitable?
Many thanks for you time in replying

As Salaamu alaikum
You do not need to book to attend the Funeral Awareness Programme on 2nd June.
Please note that the intended audience is female adults. There will be discussions/talks on death and the dead body. If you feel your daughter has the maturity to attend, then this is fine.

Jazak’Allah for this initiative mash’Allah.
A few questions: 1. it will be in urdu and english – does that mean 2 separate sessions or a combined urdu/english one?
2. who will be leading on it?
3. will it be backed up with daleel – evidence – hadiths/quran and sunnah etc… (I ask this due to experience at a ghusl where much was done which did not seem right – e.g. chanting etc…)
jazak’Allah for your time

The talk will be in both Urdu and English (one session) with the literature given also in both languages.
The session will be led by our Women’s group sister.-
They will ensure that what is taught is authentic – from Quran and Sunnah.
