Noor Ul Islam Primary School

Noor Ul Islam Primary School is now in its eighth year.

The school has 160 boys and girls attending full time at the premises on Dawlish Road in Leyton, East London. The school has full registration with the Department for Children, Schools and Families.

This project took just eight months to set up. After purchasing a building in January 2001 a steering group was formed. The following months were spent in planning and renovating the premises and Allhamdulillah in September 2001 the full time primary school opened.

Currently we have seven classes with pupils aged between 4 and 11, attending.

The school aims to follows the National Curriculum subjects as well as teach Islamic Studies and Arabic.

This independent school relies only on school fees and donations. For more information on how to donate please contact the school.

The school is based in Leyton and has eighteen members of staff. The school’s foundation is based on providing a cheerful and happy place for young children to learn while maintaining the discipline expected in an Islamic school.

Noor Ul Islam Pre-School receives accreditation

Noor Ul Islam Pre-School is very pleased to have attained the Pre-school Learning Alliance’s Accreditation award, Alhamdulillah. We already offer – and aim to continue to offer – a caring, stimulating environment for our children to develop socially, emotionally and intellectually in preparation for school.

This accreditation recognises the high quality of care and education we offer to our children, and the level of service for our staff and volunteers.

Committee members, parents and especially the staff, both past and present, contributed to the achievement of this award.

It has involved a lot of hard work and has been a great challenge. Our accreditation is a tribute to the professionalism and commitment of our staff and helpers. Insha Allah we look forward to many happy and successful years ahead.
