The project has now re-opened and we are inviting more peole to reapply.
Noor Ul Islam, together with London Action Trust, is looking for Muslims who would like to become Mentors to Muslim ex-offenders.
Ex-offenders often need help, support and guidance to get back into society by enrolling on a course or seeking employment.
Our recruitment campaign is aiming to get Muslims who can offer support for about one hour per week. Full training and a qualification is given. Whilst this is not a paid position, expenses will be covered.

Yes this project is for both men and women. However as most Muslim ex-offenders are men, we are looking for mainly male mentors.

The closing date has passed but as the course has not started, we can still accept applications.
The training is for two days (most likely two consecutive Saturdays).
