waAlaikumsalam warahmatullah. JazakAllah for the reply. May Allah grant Noor Ul Islam the ability to run such a course.Ameen. I think it would be very beneficial in having a hifz course for sisters over 16, because in East London there is no place where sisters over 16 can study hifz, whereas with the Aalimah course there are plenty of places in East London that teach it. Please please try and see if something can be arranged brother, not only is there alot of demand for it, but I think we need more female hafidahs as this is something which we are deprived of.

JazakAllaah Khayran for your comment. Unfortunately we are unaware of any Hifz classes for sisters in London.
Noor Ul Islam Trust has considered running this, however the availability of good teachers, charging an affordable rate and suitable timings of the class have proved difficult. Very sorry. However, please continue to ask dua that we are able to do this in the future as a few sisters have asked for this and we do try to provide activities and classes based on the demand and needs of the community.

Assalamu’alaykum. Do you know any institutes that do hifz for sisters. Ive searched and searched and i cant seem to find any in london. Would noor ul islam be able to set up hifz classes to cater for sisters over 16 who wish to memorise the Qur’aan?

Just to reiterate. At the moment there are no plans for an evening Aalimah class. However should the demand be there, we will then look into the possibility of the course. We would need to discuss with the teachers and students how many evenings a week the classes can run for and based on this, then say how long the course will take to complete.

With respect to the full time course, this takes five years to complete.

I apprecaite interested students would want to know the course details first before signing up. But at the moment, we just need a list of “interested parties”, before we look into possibly taking this forward.

If evening classes were to be setup, what will the timings be? And how long will it take to complete the course? And also, please give me an email address to send the name of the potential Aalimah students.
