As Salaamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh
Thank you for your comment. The classes take place from 9:30am to 2:30pm UK time, Monday to Friday, so not really evening time in Chicago. The lessons takes place in our classroom and unfortunately it is not done online.
The next intake will be in October 2010 insha Allaah.

The fees ranges from the different year groups, but averages at around £40 per month (£480 per year) for the full time course. The part time course is £25 per month.
The full time course brief outline is as follows:

i was wondering… my sister is of 17 yrs of age and is interested in this alimah course. as we live in forest gate she would be needing the bus to get there and as she is just 17 she can still get free travel. would noor-ul-islam be able to provide proof that she would still be studying? so that she can still get free travel?
Please could you advise me of the minimum/maximum age required to enrol onto the Alima course, and also can anyone from any part of the UK participate?
As Salaamu alaikum
The minimum age is 16 years old. There is no maximum age, as long as the student can keep up with the work. Any sister can take part, however note that lessons are in Leyton, East London, five days a week – so someone living further away, would have to commute.
As Salaamu alaikum
The Aalimah class is in English. There may be languages taught (eg Arabic, Uru) but the teaching/learning for the Aalimah course is in English.
Assalamualaykum… i was wondering if there were any job vacncies for the alim classes.. not sure who to contact and hat to do? please get back to me..
Jazakillah Khair..

Our course is a five year course. Assuming someone comletes the course and passes each year’s assessment, after five years, the student will graduate as an aalimah.
Please send your CV to admin@noorulislam.co.uk or post to 713 High Road, London E10 5AB. Should a suitable vacancy arise soon, we will then insha Allaah contact you.
During the last two years , who teaches male or female?
And is the last two years taught in urdu? If so, does the teachers finish all the kitaabs by the end of the year?
Also, what does one receive upon graduating and will they recieve a sanad?
As Salaamu alaikum
In the last two years of the course, both male and female teachers take the classes (male teachers obviously behind a screen). The classes are taught in English and upon graduating a certificate is presented at the graduation ceremony confirming the Aalimah course completion.
As Salaamu alaikum
At the moment, we do not have a Hidfh class for girls. However we are exploring different options at the moment and if a new class is set up we will post information on this website insha Allaah.
