The Noor Ul Islam Women Advisory Board has instigated a petition against the compulsory use of Body scanners at the airports.
These body scanners produce an image of the naked body and detect any metal objects.
Currently, these are being used at Terminal Four, Heathrow airport and passengers selected must go through a body scan.

NEXT SESSION: Brothers: 11th April, Sisters 18th April 2010.
We are pleased to annouce that the MIWA swimming sessions are due to start again in April at the Leyton Leisure Lagoon. As before one session will be for brothers only and the next for sisters only. However this year we have also booked the gym again.

Please note that for the next few weeks the Noor Ul Islam Football sessions organised by our Youth Team will take place at Drapers Field (opposite Masjid Tawhid, High Road) and not at the Score Centre.

Noor Ul Islam is offering a beginners class on IT/Computing for brothers.
There is a choice of two dates for a beginners’ session and two dates for those with a bit more experience and knowledge with computers.
Each session cost £5 and takes place at 713 High Road, Leyton, London E10 on a Wednesday afternoon.

WILL WRITING SERVICE
We are pleased to announce our Islamic Will Writing Service at Noor Ul Islam. With the help of solicitors from MacLeish Littlestone Cowan we are providing a Will-writing service. Wills can be prepared in accordance to both Shariah and English Law.

Noor Ul Islam Trust is looking for young Muslims who are involved in gangs or have been affected by gangs. A five day project to be run in March will be looking at the impact gangs have on Muslims. If you are under 21 and would like to get involved by email admin@noorulislam.co.uk
